August 9, 2016

The USAID-GEMS project came to a close at the end of July, 2016. After five fruitful years, we are very excited to see the effects of our teams' work with all of our partners. See what some of our Liberian counterparts are doing to keep on improving the Government of Liberia's efforts to better serve the Liberian people.

The Governance Commission is strengthening the foundations of governance.

The Liberia Institute of Public Administration is building capacity in Liberia's professional workforce.

The National Bureau of Concessions is using a Concessions Information Management System to visualize land concessions managed throughout the country

The Civil Service Agency is reforming the way public servants are held accountable for their work.

The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning is digitizing their budgeting systems to streamline government spending.
